Rule 16A
Nominating for scholarship

(1) After publication of merit order according to rule 16, the selection committee shall give at least seven days to the candidates in such merit order to determine the priority order of the educational institution subject to the subject they want to study and the number of scholarship seats received by the Ministry of Education. The notice should be published publicly.

(2) After the notice is published according to sub-rule (1), the concerned candidate should specify the priority of the subject, educational institution or country he/she wants to study in the form provided by the selection committee.

(3) After obtaining the order of priority according to sub-rule (2), the selection committee shall publish the list of main and alternate candidates based on the order of merit according to rule 16, the subject of the scholarship and the name of the relevant educational institution in the case of the home country and the name of the relevant country in the case of foreign countries.

(4) When publishing the list in accordance with sub-rule (3), the period during which the concerned candidate must keep in touch and the time when the candidate who wants to oppose the claim must also be mentioned.

(5) Sub-rule (4) ) within the period mentioned above, if there is any opposition to the claim, the selection committee will prepare the final list and submit it to the Ministry of Education for the nomination of the candidates after conducting the necessary investigation. The Ministry shall nominate the relevant candidate for the scholarship.

(7) If the main candidate does not come to contact within the period as per sub-rule (4) or if he/she does not want to study, the Ministry of Education shall nominate the alternative candidate based on the order of merit.
